Having the Sandman as Ben's killer is indeed a crock...however. If you notice the spawn comics, movie nor the animated series followed each other very well. Todd McFarlane said that once you tell a story too many times it becomes boring...so each instance of spawn that he did he changed it. I think this is a good idea....otherwise we always know what is going on. So the addition of the Sandman as Uncle ben's actual murderer isn't in all a horrible thing. Personal fav's about this movie is the fact that they ARE starting the Venom Saga....yea..I said Starting. There will not be enuff room in one movie to have not only Sandman AND the newly incarnated Green Goblin plus the most important villain and hardest trial Peter Parker has ever faced; Venom. This is definately a set up for a fourth movie based on Venom. The addition of the grrl from Lady in the Water and the Village playing Gwen Stacy....quite possibly the best actor representation of a spider-man movie since McGuire started as Parker. The biggest goof of all is Topher Grace as Brock. Eddie Brock was a large guy muscle wise. Which is what gave Venom his size. Personally I would like to see Wrestler
Brock Lestner (no pun meant on the name) as Venom. THAT is the perfect living version of Eddie Brock/Venom I have ever seen. But i don't make movies....so I really don't have any say. All in all I think this will still be a good installment in the Spider-Man Franchise. Tho I have been wrong before.
