The fact that the robot and car designs changed doens't bother me. What bothers me is that it never shows the robots talking in any of the previews I've seen. They have to say something I'm sure. I hope.

The other things is that it looks like their trying to make the transformers into just another alien invasion movie. Don't understand any of this at all.

They do talk...and even have teeth and eyes........it's stupid.....and yes it basically is an alien invasion movie.

Despite what scarecrow says, I and a lot of my friends really liked the movie.

Here's the key:

1) it is a Michael Bay film, prepare accordingly
2) it is the Transformers. A MOVIE based off of a CARTOON from the 1980's, keep that in mind. It isn't exactly high-brow material, no matter how much you love the original cartoon (and yes, I do love the original).
3) Some people are taking this shit WAY too seriously. Who cares about a paint-job that you only really see for maybe 30 seconds of total screen time? Since when did people watch movies about transforming robots for the color of the robots?
