What I find interesting is how many people I know who won't watch it with the English dub even though it was originally done in english. You're right about hand. In the first movie, he's trying to get him to appeal to his vampire side( pretty much his" Human are cattle" side) and the second movie he...

Yes, actually, you can. Case in point: Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. What an amazingly flawed, if gorgeous, film.

Gotta expect the flaws. It was made in America.

Actually, Rivetheads are a majority of their fan base. And Rivetheads don't care about being labeled Rivetheads or not.

I wonder if the person who wrote the article knows the difference between Goth and Industrial music. Since when were NIN or Skinny Puppy considered Goth bands?

Damn it. At this rate, they'll outlast the Beatles. Ugh. I've heard you don't like anything connected to Skinny Puppy. Just lay back, close your eyes, and let Ogre beat you senseless. Eventually you will see the light. You can only resist so long mon ami. And he will be around longer than the beatl...

That particular stereotype about priest has been around for quite some time. It has gotten a lot of exposure on the news lately but that doesn't change the fact that people have thought that about priest for quite sometime now. Lets face it, they can't take a wife and the bible says they can't lay d...

I didn't think you were. Just saying that person didn't write it. But none the less, I agree wholeheartedly with the paragraph. The way I see it, all a Goth is is a person who follows a particular musical style. Much like a G-Thug or Punk. Punks primarily listen to punk music not say...Dusty Springf...

Actually, we both were using the same music history site. If you notice, the link you have is to a page that is all Spanish except for that paragraph. Which means they copied it and pasted it as I did.

Darkdahla, you left out one crucial piece of information: that the early "goth" bands - in particular Bauhaus, Joy Division, Sisters of Mercy and the Cure - denied the "Goth" label and often, in interviews, claimed to despise their "goth" fans. Andrew Eldritch has always been particularly hard on h...

Heres a explanation(from a music history site) about Goth ro

Frequently misunderstood in its aesthetics and misapplied as a term, goth rock is an offshoot of post-punk that existed primarily during the early to mid-'80s. Its reputation as the darkest and gloomiest form of underground rock is largely deserved, though today that reputation stems more from the v...
