To get away from that hallmark moment. I would also like to see some dark color in the background to g...

Yep poetry is a different animal, thus illustrating our point about self publishing being dependant upon your circumstances and expectations. I will look closer at cafe press at your recomendation, I just don't like their website, it looks so family oriented it just bugs me, but that's silly so I'll...

Hello Keltora: I appreciate your input on this topic as it gives a writer in the trenches view of the subject. I also understand your problems with and most are warranted. I agree with you on most of your points, although there have been a few small successes at iUniverse etc. I still ultimately agr...

Well I want to think about that for awhile cuz I realy like sad songs, but then a stupid song will bring back a sad memory sometimes. But my first thought would be:" The Bluest man in town" by Bill Monroe She's gone away and left me here to find somebody new now she's off with her new love and I'm a...

I ;love Joel Peter witkin's work, he is considered a fringe artist, especially by purist photographers who cringe at his scratched degatives lol. However he's very succesful, the UT library has a great book with his stuff which has a picture of a fist f*** that makes you wonder if the receient survi...

It's the horrilbe thing that we can't get our eyes away from the sadness that fills our hearts. These are the things that art helps us to deal with, Flowers help with the smell, also give us a symbol into which we can focus our greiving, as the fertility idol gives us a symbol to focus our dreams re...

Geometry of a flower Flowers in graves Hyacinths and Knapweed the tumbling sun I stop and wish for a waterfall leading eyes to my hands, sift the ecstasy of water and wonder why words are wrong. The Golden Mean shines down on us and grins secretly, underearth, the cruelest elements linger we stew t...
