The Prestige

Post by Hardcoregirl »

OMG.

This movie was SOOO good.

It requires more thinking than the average american probably wants to do, but if you like thinking, and you like victorian costumes and historical fiction its fabulous. And hey, its even got Christian Bale *and* Hugh Jackman.

Really it was so much better than expected.

Plus DAVID BOWIE plays Nikola Tesla!!!! I couldn't believe it was him.

If you like mindfuckesque movies, go see it. I mean I'm still kind of confused, especialy when you start to ponder whether it was a "good ending" or not.

I'll probably check it out, but the Illusionist was a lot like that as well.

I heard the Illusionist was a love story. Bah I hate love stories, lol.

Anyways IMDB rates the prestige as 8.4 outta 10 and the illusionist got 7.7 outta 10. So, go with the numbers!

Plus the Illusionist scored a 0/10 on the David Bowie Factor, so there ya go. ;)
