hehe have never gotten sick off of anything there (over 10 years so far) but then I've gotten sick at other places that some on here love. IMHO its still the best place in East tenn. and is considered (sp) a tourist stop for out of towners. It also won an award for healthiest sandwich .

Time Out Deli
I've been eating at Ali Baba's for eight years now and have never gotten sick. For a while I was going everyday. It's a wonderful place. I even managed to get thier recipie for bakalava.
I've eaten there a few times, I'd call it ok, but not great.
I thought the chicken schwarma was too tough - and I gave them a few tries to get it right. Flavor was good, though.
I've not ever had really good middle eastern food in TN, though.

We are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further.
