Buddy's

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Buddy's

Post by vertigo25 »

Could someone send a few pounds of pulled pork and a couple bottles of sauce? Maybe some hushpupies, too.

Southern barbecue is the only kind of food you can't get out here. The closest you'll come to it is Texas barbecue, and although we have a pretty good place down the street... it's just not the same.

I'm freaking dyin' for a Buddy's pork sandwich with slaw on top.

PS: Sarge's would be good, too.

The firemen came and broke through the chimney top. And me and Mom were expecting them to pull out a dead cat or a bird. And instead they pulled out my father. He was dressed in a Santa Claus suit. He'd been climbing down the chimney... his arms loaded with presents. He was gonna surprise us. He slipped and broke his neck. He died instantly. And that's how I found out there was no Santa Claus.

The title of this thread is, of course, supposed to read, "Buddy's."

*sigh*

Ate there Saturday night. Good stuff! I don't imagine it would keep well during the transport process though. ;)

I've been hitting this bbq joint on middlebrook lately.

Damn its good.

Can't you at least buy a plastic container of it in your meat section at the grocery that you microwave? Its better than nothin'.

ha ha. Um. No.

My neighbor, who is from Louisiana , and I were talking yesterday about the lack of true southern barbecue in the Bay Area. As it happens, he has a HUGE smoker. I think we may go in on getting a huge pork butt or a shoulder or two to smoke. The downside being that I'd have to particpate in the pulling. May be worth it, though :)

Been closed for years now. :(
We are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further.
