They need more bands, last year was the bomb with Abney Prk and Ego Likeness. Hopefully I can have enough money to get down there and have fun as well.

They'll definitely be listing more bands...as soon as the bands are confirmed. Yeah, the bands lineup was pretty cool last year.

I miss GWAR being there though! Well, except for the time I accidentally saw Sleazy changing...wow. Talk about scarred!

I wish they'd have some horror type related bands....like Wednesday 13 or something.

OMFG...they just updated guests...

JACK KETCHUM!
JULIET LANDAU

I feel like I'm going to pee myself. Jack Ketchum writes some truly fucked up shit. He's one of my all time favorite authors!

And...Drusilla!

Hey guys,

The 2007 Dragon*Con band line-up has now been expanded to include:

The Cruxshadows
Voltaire (with full band!)
The Last Dance
Bella Morte
Calabrese (some cool horror-punk, as requested)
Stolen Babies

I'm feeling a very good year coming on. If you guys make it down, be sure to visit the Gothic Shadows Programming Track. We'll be doing some new panels this year on things like Horror Rock and Goth in the Media, as well as old favorites like Lovecraft, Vampirism, Poe, and several chances to meet the bands.

In fact, you can visit the Event Page for the Goth Track HERE.

Thanks,
Ichabod

The Pocket Program was put up yesterday!

I've begun my yearly ritual of schedule making :)

I must say, compared to last year...there are TONS of great panels to attend! It's going to be so hard to choose between so many that are happening at the exact same time.

Anyone else that attends Dragon Con regularly have any rituals?

I have to print out the schedule, go through it and find which panels interest me. Then I narrow down which ones at which times..and create a humongous master schedule...that we never follow. lol. But it's a big part of our dragon con routine, so I have to do it.

The Gothic Shadows track alone has some pretty awesome panels going on!

Here is the Gothic Shadows stuff:

**********

Also, last count was they were having a whopping NINE World of Warcraft panels!!

They are also premiering Vampira: The Movie, which is also at the exact same time that Voltaire is performing :(

Not sure what to do about that one....especially since Voltaire is performing with his *full band* this year, and he hasn't done that since the first year I saw him there!

Voltaire is doing a whole acoustic set of his Star Trek tunes too!

And, if you're a trekkie? This is definitely a good year for you! There are tons of cool Star Trek panels and guests!

I'm super excited this year, even if I have *way* less money than every year before!

4 MORE DAYS!!!

Who all is going? :)
