Chris - Seriously what fountain of youth did the other members of Bauhaus find....they haven't aged a day wile Peter Murphy looks all old and haggard.

Jello Biafra - HE DOES NOT LOOK HAGGARD! Don't say that about Peter! Is there another Guinness over there?

Chris - Nope

current Mural project

Post by Sonicgoo »

This is one wall of the mural I'm currently working on, the image is a composite made in photoshop started with just plain old pencils and then modified. The imagery is all about dancing and will be installed behind the stage were a lot of dancing happens here in Lincoln NE

Although I found the book thanks to the suggestion of Celestial after making the image. I like to think that ithis image is related to the White Goddess, or the creative muse. Inspiration also came about due to photographs by Man Ray, Duchamp's nude descending a staircase..

The original drawing , the multiple ladies in the center, I drew back in the late eighties when I used to go dance at Planet Earth, and then the club that followed, now that I think about it I would like to do a male version of the same painting using the memories I have of Howard dancing lol.

Bacardi is paying for it and that is why we have the large bat logo.

Hey all,

If anyone needs image hosting, I run a gallery on a massive bandwidth connection (multiple optical links). Accounts are free, but limited to 2MB of space. If you need more, contact me.

the best thing to do is create an album and post links to it or image pages inside, I'm not sure how to do direct links to images yet.

After you upload your image, find it in your gallery, click on it to get the full size version (optional), right click (Mac: control click), select "Open image in new window", copy the URL from the location bar, insert that in your image tag.

Like this (I used the smaller one):

Image
The firemen came and broke through the chimney top. And me and Mom were expecting them to pull out a dead cat or a bird. And instead they pulled out my father. He was dressed in a Santa Claus suit. He'd been climbing down the chimney... his arms loaded with presents. He was gonna surprise us. He slipped and broke his neck. He died instantly. And that's how I found out there was no Santa Claus.
