Creamaster Cycle
alright....I think this has already passed through the east coast but it may come back, and if it does...see it. it is the most increadible artistic experience i have ever had. it is amazing. if you dont know abut it. the creamaster cycle is a 5 movie series that lasts about 7 hours total by Mathew Barney. it took him 8 years to complete it. most of the films are reletively short pt1 & 2 together are 2 hours 4&5 together are a little over an hour and a half 3 is 3 hours long. they wernt produced in sequence and three is the latest, finnished last year. for the last few years it has been acclamed as the most important art peice of the last 10 years. this is the first time it has been shown in its intiraty. the cycle is touring the country right now, makeing 2 week stops in certain cities. go see it, no matter haow far you have to travel to do so. it is worth it

Jello Biafra - HE DOES NOT LOOK HAGGARD! Don't say that about Peter! Is there another Guinness over there?

I've only seen stills from it but it's pretty cool, JFM posted a slideshow at Metroblab when it first hit new york I'll see if I can find it later.
I do think that this is the current edge or school of work that deals with body images, that will be hip in the next decade.
