Dim Sum

Post by Onibubba »

While I was living in Nashville, I searched in vain for a Chinese restaurant that had a weekend dim sum menu. I was told by several restaurant owners that the closest was in Atlanta. They do have at least 4 excellent locationsm there.

When I first moved hear I noticed that New China on Kingston Pike advertised dim sum on weekends. It was OK. Everything was a bit too doughy and lacking in flavor for me, but not too bad.

Does anyone know any other place in town that serves up dim sum?

"Canton," next to Books A Million, if it is still in business, has a dim sum cart on the wknds. I haven't been there in some time, so I'm not sure they are still there.

It isn't there. A place called Sakura has opened there. I think it's another hibachi type of place.

on the other hand, a review of Sakura will be forthcoming shortly.

the words "best sushi in knoxville" will likely be in it.
