I found this rather disturbing..

Okay so I was minding my own business.... browsing through KG...

I clicked on the bands thing, just wanted to see if there were any interesting bands I haven't heard of. I came across the band "Tensoft"

This would be my ex-boyfriends band, and I would not care normally...except that he is "HELLA EMO"

Last I checked, we were not into emo here... right...?

goth = being somber and being too goth to cry over EVERYTHING

emo is too vaginal coordinated to be goth.

i never knew the difference between emo and hardcore... but here i think they are both in the same category.
i think emo is the much whiner rich kids version of being goth, only instead of goth dancing, they just get into a pit and kick and punch, and try to hurt other people. which is suppose to be really cool?? :roll:

i always like to go around with a really big stick and play....

please realize that the above post was made in order for the vampire goddess to fit in because she is a total and absolute loser, and she only posted that in order to get the respect that she so despirately needs in her life.
also, the above post might be offensive and subjected to criticism, but she was up at 9 in the morning and she normally always sleeps until three, so those opinions of the vampire goddess are just ramblings of a tired bitch that didn't go to bed until 6 in the am.

there is no such thing as an emo pit. sorry. ive got into one of their so called pits and got thrown out of the club for going off old school punk style.

K get ready to take my Goth card......

I LOVE taking back sunday...I do , I think they are hilarious and awsome. HOWEVER, now I turn on the fucking TV and metal hour is filled with all these rip off fucks and to make it warse, not only do they sound JUST LIKE taking back sunday......but they sing about the same shit....some girl I loved was a whore, she crushed my heart, Id let her do it again because I love her AND the pain. Get your own sound, your own material and this wouldntbe such a shit genre. but heres where I agree with everyone, emo was cool till I had time to buy a taking back sunday shit....then it sucked

I looooooove Taking Back Sunday, I also love No Use For A Name...and anyone who says not to listen to those bands is just retarded for trying to make everyone else be like them. I personaly like being an individual.
Anyways, I used to like Good Charlotte, too...(yeah whatever crusify me)...but I do blame them for making it so annoying now...does that make sense? (14 year olds get on my nerves.)
But I understand that little crybaby dumbasses can be annoying but you can be sensitive without bein a wimp...it's all cool with me as long as whoever does their thing and lets me do mine...and doesn't annoy me too much.

Heh....well this is what happened to me. I dated this total fucktard guy who was a whiny little emo kid. He sang exactly like that dashboard confessional mother fucker, I shit you not. At the time I did not "hate" emo, and he was like "check out this band!" and I'm always open to new music, and he really didn't warn me that it SUCKED BALLS.... so I end up buying this shitload of emo... and I never..liked it. Then I got in a series of arguements with this guy over what emo "really" was. I do not hate the original emo, that formed 15 years ago, I hate these whiney little bitches complaining about their grades and girlfriends. I.E. Dashboard confessional.

as i recall... fugazi coined the term.
that was YEARS ago.
i had fugazi albums when they were new.
they kicked ass.
quicksand was in that lot too and they were hella cool.
this shit floating around right now is making me a firm believer in males growing the ability to menstrate.

and evel, to each their own. id see no prob in liking a few of em if your a musicly diverse person.
its the people who thats their thing and theyve got 10000 albums whining about some bitch that fuck me up
and the people who willing join these bands.
but they are getting hella laid for it, so i guess i can see the motivation. cheaper on the look than the goth thing too.....

Actually it was more a band called "Rites of Spring"
and it was Ian MacKaye who, when describing the music, had it labelled 'Emo", and it just stuck. This was in 1985-1986. Emo is NOT NEW.

but I also like Fugazi, good stuff.

What people fail to understand is the "emo" they are listening to isn't actual emo anymore. It's more like 6th generation emo. The "emo" we have nowadays is more post-emocore post-indie rock post-emo. Sunny Day Real Estate is a very good example of the foundation for this type of music. I also like them. But this "emo" we have out now is not even remotely like the original. It's so watered down you can't even find similarities. it's now the "sappy bullshit genre" hidden behind the term "emo" for a better appeal.
