The Animation Show

Post by Lost Traveler »

Ok I saw it at the 1015 show on friday if your one of the 3 other people there, hey if your the only other single person there then hey I was the guy you talked to on the way out.

1. If you ever thought a ibilis link was humorus, worth seeing (theres a lot of suffering in these peices)

2. If your into animation worth seeing

3. If you liked the link that went to "The Rejected" WAY worth seeing. I dont know from 3 inches to 12 tall a popcorn person bleeding out its anus just gets that much funnier.

They had classics like Burtons Vincent which was cool to see on the big screen

They had crap but lets not go into that.

And finally They actually had some 3D that wasnt stop motion.

The two peices were "The Cathedreal" and "50% Grey"

Now "50% Grey" is similllar to the piece Im hoping to pull off, (I use the exact same set) nice textures and a funny plot.

BUT.............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Cathedreal

This bit is worth the price of admision....

er er er how to discribe

The art the textures, the plot,,errrr

Ok this is the type of piece a multy Billion dollar company releases just to show how big their phalaxis are ( the movement has to be baught IK no one I mean NO ONe can do this stuff on thier oun), and the Freakin TEXTURES : jaw drop:. But most of all the rendering is out side the realm of mear moratals (remember the cow in Cong Pow? it took a render farm of 128+ processors of 1+ gigs power 4 days PER Frame), I mean all the volumetric lighting alone would have take decades on a civillian system. ANY WAY

WOW      WOW!!!!!!!!!

GO see this

Oh wait of course the Audiance favorite was "The REJECTION" even better on the big screen

GO SEE THIS

you have till thanks giving.
