And A Few Literary Vampire Books

Post by keltora »

Yard Dog Press has several books that might appeal to those who like vampire novels.

First, there is Selina Rosen's own "The Host" series.

Also available from Yard Dog Press is Jax Laffer's THE BLOOD WITHIN.

These books have a bite you can't resist. Well written, engaging and different from the ordinary vampire fare.

Another good vampire book (and this is coming from someone who is beyond being merely fed up with vampires although he is a horror afficiando) is "The Golden" by Lucius Shepard. Although the plot is fairly straightforward, the hallucinatory nature of the prose and the way he grapples with some of the themes are in a league of their own.
