Soundtrack to Speeding Tickets
Soundtrack to Speeding Tickets
What is your favorite tune to play while driving in an insane rate of speed? How do you maintain your rhythm while carving curves and blowing past the century mark?
I have a few faves, but I prefer SOM's Lucretia above all others- good lyrics and a relentless beat-
"I hear the roar of a big machine
Two Worlds and in between
Hot metal and methedrine . . ."
The next badass bike I build will be named Lucretia, My Reflection.

Let's get down to brass tacks. How much for the ape?

Some of my favs that always end in a little slip of pink paper would have to be:
Ace Of Spades - Motorhead
Ted, Just Admit It - Jane's Addiction
Side 1 of "The Top" - The Cure
and of course, and pre-"Diver Down" Van Halen or pre-"Coda" Led Zep.

I always drive too damn fast so it doesn't matter what I listen to. I can tell you what my favorite songs while getting pulled over are though.
"Celebrity"-Bile
"The Dope Show (live)"-Marilyn Manson (just for the edited line "the pigs and fags")
"Lie"-Nine Inch Nails
"Fuck The Police"-Dope (NWA's original is good for this too))
"Pig"-Coal Chamber (I've actually been pulled over while listening to this, & forgot to turn the stereo all the way off. Luckily the cop didn't notice, or didn't care.)
Just for speeding purposes, anything by Cradle of Filth or Slipknot will do. As will Slayer's Devine Intervention & Show No Mercy, & The Misfits Earth A.D. Nico's The Marble Index is good but only at red lights at obscene volumes.
