WTF? They are making a Dukes of Hazzard movie? I'd love to see Kevin Smith write this script and cast George Carlin as Uncle Jesse.

Plus I think Danny DeVito could play a rad Boss Hogg.

just wishful thinking on my part. this movie will be sooo bad. but i have a strange fascination with the original tv show. plus i love 80's kitsch. I wish they would start cranking out the old dukes on dvd.

I am getting sick to death of making movies out of tired old TV shows and other movies. If this is actually in the works than we are officially out of ideas.

Exec 1: Here's the pitch - Gillagan's Island, the Movie.
Exec 2: Wow, I loved that show! Who's committed?
Exec 1: We've got Brad Pitt confirmed as the Professor, David Spade as Thurston Howell and Jim Carrey as Gilligan!
Exec 2: Wow! Who's the Skipper?
Exec 1: The funny fat guy on Saturday Night Live if we can get him before his heart attack!

Im pretty shure they ran out of ideas a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOng time ago, the only fun left is seeing how they rehash the old shit.

yeah, i dare anyone to name a good movie that was spawned from a sitcom. it just ain't gonna happen. at this rate we'll be seeing a Full House or Perfect Strangers movie by 2007. hahaha.
