Nice article. I first heard of the Pixies back in college when a friend introduced me to the 4AD roster. They really stood out as they were a far cry from Xymox, DCD or the Cocteau Twins. I never had the chance to see any of those 4AD bands perfrom, and I would love to catch this show. Unfortunately, perfomances are pretty limited, so I'll just have to chalk this up to another expensive missed opportunity.
Also, while I'd love to hear some new music, I can't help thinking, some things belong dead. I guess reunions are inevitable, but you can never recapture "the moment."

Here is another interesting link.
There is a company which is recording each of the shows. The CDs will be available 15 minutes after each show. They are only making 1000 CDs per show. 500 can be purchased in advance and 500 at the show. I plan to order at least one disk. They are only $22 in advance.
This may be the only way to hear them live since they have yet to add any east coast tour dates. Plus, it will likely be a lot less expensive than the show itself. But, if they do come to east coast, I will definitely try to catch a show.

Duct tape is like 'The Force'. It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together.
