Help?

Post by Vachy »

My boyfriend has a really strenuous job. (other than putting up with me ;) ) He's passed out a few times in the last few days. He has a heart condition but can't afford to get his medication adjusted right now. (messy situation with insurance company) I'm extremely worried about him, but there's really nothing I can do except offer my support. I've been praying for him, but I wondered is there some kind of protection-thingy I could give him? Some kind of stone or symbol, perhaps? We're both Christian, but very much open minded, and I would feel much better knowing he had a little something helping and protecting him. Does anyone know of anything that could help?

look into aroma therapy. candles, essential oils, massage oils. lavender is good for stress.
Are we there yet?

Some of the herbal teas might help as well, vitamins help a LOT as well. I rush around so much I wind up eating fast food for days on end and if I don't take my vitamins I'ma wreck. Good old Flintstones.

the best thing is to get the problem solved, (the high stress or the medicine) just think about the consiquences (sp) and how silly things your worring about will apear if something bad happens.

That's wise thinking and seems very true. It's something we should all think about. I don't think it's worth worrying about the little things when you stop and see what other kind of "bigger problems" others have.

Good words. ;)

And to the person who posted looking for advice, I think isntead of looking for something magical, your boyfriend needs to consider looking for another job. I hate to say that but is his job REALLY worth being that sick over? I don't see how any job is worth that.

I have to agreee with Roze on that sense, however, I know that not everyone can just up and get a differant job. Good luck. I hope everything turns out ok.

Exactly. As I said, I really can't do anything about it, and neither can he. Vicious circle, the job makes the medical problem worse, but he has to have the job to pay for the medical problems. As for getting a new job, this one pays good, and he's limited to where he can get to. (He can't drive because of the passing out.)

Thanks for the advice. I'm not looking for a "magical solution," just a bit of comfort. That's what religion is for, basically, to have the comfort that something out there is watching over us.

Thanks for the good luck, as well, he's been doing much better the past few days.
