Pixilated Dreams

In the dark light of the moon lay a young man.
His heart was heavy, and laced in pain
He once thought he could run away...
And stay away from the drama that came his way.

He'd dream the lies by night
And by day run in fright...
Too afraid to stay and fight
He backed down and hid
Hiding in his pixilated dreams

Behind the pixels he let himself go
Into a world of magic and beauty
A world that he would grow to call home..
But nothing would last forever
As he would continuously run to his pixilated home..

Eventully his screams rang out
His anger was raging to be let out...
He once again, tried to run an hide..
But his pixilated dream he could not find
Only the pain and suffering it left behind...

Within time, he relalized...
The problems that came from trying to hide...
But, by then, it was too late..
The past 4 years of his life had all been fake...
Lost in a dark pixilated dream...

And so it came to pass
His actions crude and crass
The repercussions made to last
As his life began to pass
Away from that malevolent pixilated dream

And in the wake of the falling rubble
A new life began to boil and bubble
Forged by the bonds of friendship
As well as the tides of love
The boy inside was reborn

But within the pixilated dream he did not hide
He stayed in peace and harmony
And stood up to the pain he tried to hide
And today he walks this desolate earth
Happy he did find, no reason to ever run and hide..
