domain name registration

Post by iblis »

Simple question.

What service would you recommend to register a domain name?

I don't mean one of the oddball .cc or .cx or what-have-you.

I mean the "originals". .com, .org, .net. etc.

I use Cyber Pixles ( http://www.cyberpixels.com ) if you are looking for hosting as well as a domain. I really like them, but their ftp can be a slight pain at times...but they make up for it with all the features and such.

If you are just talking about the domain (and no host)...then I'm not sure. I know lycos has domain redirection that includes unlimited email redirections...but then again its from the creator of Tripod (how I hate tripod...) and I've never tried it so I'm not sure how great it is.

i like GoDaddy. $8.95 a year - and for a nickle a year more, you can get a private registration.
