An appeal to the Gothic Gaming Guru's

Post by LordHades »

Dear 3G,

Why can't I find a game that captures the delightful, in-depth turn-based tactical style of the X-com and Jagged Alliance series, that isn't eight years old? All I want is a squad-based tactical game with good strategic out-of-combat R&D & economic elements, expansionistic possibilities, and guns.. lots of guns..

Is that really too much to ask? *sniff*

Sincerely,
Bored to Tears..

Because real-time is more fun?

Because 1st person is more fun? (re: Tribes, Tribes II, etc)

Because if one has to wait for a turn, one loses the "Surprise! You're fucked!". element?

Who knows?

:P~
