i will be moving away this january and i am going to dearly miss everybody in this community...i would really love something like that to remind me of everything that i am going to leave behind! what a wonderful idea!

If it gets down to the point where we need a photogopher i will do it. I used to work for a portrat studio in maryville. and I have my own set up ..... all digital.

i dont know if anyone wants me, but i would also like to be in it. we tried to get this started about 2 years ago, but never made it. im never around, but get ahold of blindboy and he'll pass the message on. (also, if you want to do this seriously, we need professionalism-someone to take pictures, help with setting, hair costume, blah blah blah). yep

I used to work for Heirloom portrats over on brodway near 5 point our home offices were up in Newport the only reasion I quit was because frank (the owner) still owes me a shit load of money.

I went to high school with Carrie. She'd be an excellent choice for this project, if she has the time & wants to do it. She's also doing work from events & selling them to raise money for one of our own who really needs it.

Sounds good and I found a website that will publish and sell the calendars for us. All we have to do is take the pics, download the designs, the way we want them, and then name the price. They add on 20%, to cover their fee, and it's done. Anyone can purchase one after that. The site sends the money into a paypal account to be distributed by the account holder.

That sounds great. Thank you Stormstress and B_Ko. Now all I have to consider is supplies for said makeup and hair. Not to mention film, developing, and all that. And the initial cost involved. Any suggestions there?? Once I get all that together, I've had volunteers for photography, hair, and makeup. And I'm pretty good with hair and makeup.

If we can get it together, I'll set some dates for pictures, and we'll get it put together.

i have been approached twice to shoot a girls of kg calander and was never told when to start or who to shoot or any of the details, i offered my services for free as long as i could use the photos for my portfolio -
offer still stands if you would like help
btw, i use a Nikon D70 Digital SLR and a Nikkormat 35mm SLR
also have studio lights and studio space (if anyone is willing to come out and help me clean it up

)

tat2jay I think we could definitely use your services. And if you're willing to put in the time, I don't think anyone would have a problem with you keeping the shots for your portfolio. In fact, I could probably put together a release for everyone to sign, saying its ok, for you to do that. That way there's no problem later on. However this is going to be a pretty big project, so I'm thinking we may need at least one more photographer. Unless you think you could handle it on your own.

And between the makeup that's been offered and the makeup I know all the goff girls have, I'm sure we'll have plenty there.

Ms. Tangledwebs and The Stormstess have both offered to help with makeup and costuming.

I can help with those and hair. And I'm sure each girl can do a little herself.

Ok, to the three of you...are you really willing to put in the time? Cause if so, I'll post a thread for people to start signing up...or at least giving me definite yes/no interest.
