Halloween Sanctus Pics?

I've been taking pictures of Rocky Horror events and the Nashville Goth scene for a couple years now for the sole reason of other people to get to have some kind of memory of events to take home. I'm no professional, and these pictures in question kinda look like the crap I take. I am tired of these people taking medeocre pictures and selling them back to people. I could see if there was film or setup involved, or if they were for publication, but these obviously aren't.
Beyond that is the attitude of the site. If your picture is up there, public or not, they should get some kind of permission as a courtesy. Their behaving like a kid with his prize toy.
Carrie's photo's are absolutely awesome! Something worth a couple bucks for a print.
Someday I hope to be out your way, and I won't charge for my pictures. They don't cost me nothing. Until then some of my galleries:

Carie,
If the photos are used for free display on the internet or personal use, please do take as many pictures as you want! If they are for sale to benefit any charity, likewise you have permission. If they are for sale for profit, just ask permission and I'm sure you'll get it. It was the "surprise, you're for sale under my copyright" which was over the line by that guy. I have no worries concerning you at all! Welcome to KG and any friend of Mo's is a friend of ours!

Ideas?
As of today, there has been no word from Miz Kitty or the photographer. I'm considering what the next move should be. I think perhaps a letter signed by everyone who is in his pictures (backgrounds, too) would be a strong statement. This, followed up with the promise that he and his camera are never being allowed into another KG event might get his attention, but we'd need the KGB to back this up. Ideas?

Sorry to be in on this so late in the game. I am not personally upset about my photo being for sale, however I would like to have copies for my portfolio, and I have no intention of paying for them. I can certainly understand why some one else might be upset by this. I plan to email the photographer to ask him for a copy of each of my pics. It would have been nice for him to have mentioned the pictures were for profit. When I talked to him his was too busy name dropping (which scores no points with me) and trying to make an impression. I'll keep you all posted.

Hi guys,
I just realized that I know a guy that is a photographer for that website, and I will talk with me and see what he can do for you guys! His name is Rob Roy, and he was there that night, but not photographing things. He told me I should put my pics I shot on his website, earlier in the evening, but now I think I will decline on that.
I'll have more updates on this later!
Rob Roy is a sweetheart and I am sure he will help. His pic is on my fotopage.com site. I'll update his pic with his name on it, and maybe some of you will recognize him maybe.

More info
Mr. Chambers has not removed my picture from his page. He never replied to my email. Please note that his $3 asking price per picture is for a full-size "digital download" (presumably jpg file) and not a print. The site notes that the KnoxPics.org logo and watermark (which says © KP) would be removed from the purchased download, but evidently the © Shane Chambers would remain. Let us know what kind of luck you have getting free prints, Miz. Kitty. and thanks for your post.
I suppose this will result in the KGB issuing a camera policy for Sanctus. If it targets the abuser and not the good folks of KG who just want to share the sights for free, then it will be welcomed I'm sure.

That guy selling pics of regular people without their permission has a lot of nerve - and NO professionalism
I've considered asking people that I've taken exceptionally good photos of to sign releases, and have asked a few times, but I've not even tried mass selling photos that have been published in Locus.
I believe the rule is that you can legally sell pics of public figures doing public things - but not regular people.

See you next month.
Nice! Thanks for taking and posting these.

The pics posted by Bone are the ones I referred to in my previous post. Next time, I hope to have internet access at home so I can post them from Nashville. Thanks to whoever got the pictures on the forum!
P.S. I don't care who gets a copy of the pictures I take. I am no professional photographer, but I appreciate the memories recorded in the click of a shutter. I hope by sharing my pictures, we can all remember what a wonderful time we had!
