Do I have to..

Post by LordHades »

Do this again if I haven't posted in over a year? Not that I posted much then either. I suppose calling attention to myself is probably a self-destructive impulse, but life of late hasn't been offering me enough chances to destroy my self esteem. Well, here it is regardless, so I suppose I'll bother to do what I neglected the first time..

If only I could still remember what that was..

Oh well, it'll come to me...

I had it for a minute.. Oh yeah.

Lesse.. I'm:
24. (What to say, I haven't earned a Darwin Award.. yet.)
Single. (This will be clarified by the following)
Male. (And hetero, like it matters to anyone but my delusional mother who thinks I might someday be a source of yet more grandchildren.)
Nearsighted. (Hold up your fingers. Hey, I said FingerS.)
Anti-social. (Thus, no posting for a year.)
Gamer (Console, PC, P&P, & CCG experience, open to new experiences though).
Mild computer geek. (I'll make my own system, but damn if you can't find cat-5 already terminated with an rj-45).
Procrastinating anime junkie (Damn, I could download the entire series of Urusei Yatsura if I had 8 gigs free, but that means I'd have to sort & burn my Ranma & Lain.)
Eager fanboy (Hey, when you can't find anything important and meaningful that meshes with your belief structure, or lack thereof, you can get alot of amusement out of finding something inconsequential and utterly appealing to a narrow portion of said structure)

Bah, break's over. More to come, if I don't get properly medicated in the meantime.

Medication: No.
Caffination: Yes indeed.

Thus another post, now that my visitting comrade has departed.

Lesse.. Back to the description first, for some reason it amuses me.

Size: XXLT. (6'5" and in extreme need to acquire a more active hobby. I hear bondage is fun.)
Hair: Unkempt, Brown. (I can find a brush, but what to do with it?)
Eyes: Hazel. (And malfunctioning.)
Influences: (IE, People I blame for my screwed up world perspective.)
Elf Sternberg: (Prolific Netfic author, best known for his expansive collection of short stories known as "The Journal Entries.") For opening my mind while I was still sure I knew everything.
Vladimir Nabokov:(Lolita, what else needs be said?) For showing me precisely how cunning and beautiful the english language can be, even if I was too caught up in the poetry of expression to figure out all the good parts.
Rumiko Takahashi: (Manga artist, creator of Ranma 1/2, Urusei Yatsura, and the currently popular Inu Yasha, among others.) For making me beleive that in spite of all the trauma and drama of daily life ( And oni invasions ), what two people can have together is a beautiful, precious, and enduring thing. As long as you don't mind the random malletting or electric shock.
Lords of Acid: For making music that I can enjoy listening to, while watching goth ladies dance.

Eh, ok, enough of that I suppose.

Well, this will be the last reply to my own post, unless situation warrents otherwise. I trust anyone who notices will be sufficiently warned against further perusal of my self-indulging drivel.

Anyhow, thanks for the greetings, and I'll look into attending another sanctus, and getting my KF account reactivated.

Gee. It's been almost a month. Regardless, I'll post anyway. =P I'm in a similar scenario as I suddenly reappeared after a year's abscence. Maybe I'll make an introductory post when of these days when I feel like it .lol Nice to meet you.
