Eager fanboy (Hey, when you can't find anything important and meaningful that meshes with your belief structure, or lack thereof, you can get alot of amusement out of finding something inconsequential and utterly appealing to a narrow portion of said structure)

Vladimir Nabokov:(Lolita, what else needs be said?) For showing me precisely how cunning and beautiful the english language can be, even if I was too caught up in the poetry of expression to figure out all the good parts.
Rumiko Takahashi: (Manga artist, creator of Ranma 1/2, Urusei Yatsura, and the currently popular Inu Yasha, among others.) For making me beleive that in spite of all the trauma and drama of daily life ( And oni invasions ), what two people can have together is a beautiful, precious, and enduring thing. As long as you don't mind the random malletting or electric shock.
Lords of Acid: For making music that I can enjoy listening to, while watching goth ladies dance.
