KG Server Security Breach

I am currently investigating a breach of security on KnoxGothic.com.

As of now, the site is up and running on the new server. Many things are going to be broken.

The database was restored from last night's backup, so any posts from today have been lost.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

The chat room isn't working. It doesn't display the number of people and when I try to open it the window is just blank. Don't know if this is because of the security breach or something else, so just wanted to let you know.

Thanks for keeping this place up for us, ya'll. (attempted to insert thankful-looking smiley, but found that those are broken too...)

edit: whoa, some people's avatars, mine included, have been enlarged. I took mine down, as it was suddenly several times bigger than the limit.

I'm working on several things today. The avatars should be better soon.

Chat isn't coming back - at least not in the old form. There may be a new chat in the future.

My account and Cam's is crosswired again, Vader.
I tried to use the "forgot password" function, but the page that the activation email sent me to is a 404. Somehow I was logged in anyway, but when I went to change my password to one I can remember it had TheSym as the user name but all of my other info there, and said I couldn't change the password because the current password was incorrect.
Also, my avatar is missing.

In process of fixing security issues we moved KG to a new server (Anyone else notice the huge speed increase on the forum lately). The move was a little ahead of schedual. So, there may be a few minor issues as things get re-installed on the new server. Things should be back and running normally soon. The updates on system software are not compatible with a few plug-ins we have formally had (Events Calander, Chat etc) we hope to find new versions, and to get some of those functions back as soon as possible.
Please bare with us.
If you find any problems please let us know.

A new chat? I hope it doesn't use flash, since a fair portion of us Nashvilleites come here because our comps don't agree with Flash.

Java? Ewwww!

I still wouldn't mind a flash implementation, but I know you're horribly prejudiced against that wonderful, superb language which shall eventually replace Java, on port 80 and 443 at least...

But good gods, man, I IM'd you a good cgi->IRC script some time back.

I can even install it on a test forum if you'd like, so you can see how spiffy cool it is.

And everyone knows that IRC > everything else, chatwise.
