This entire thread.....the route that it has gone....is fucking rediculous. One person posted something that she thought was amusing and 'gothdom' has went into an uproar. i, personally, like ICP. i thought the article was uber amusing. The comments and reactions of people to this are not amusing. It's fucking stupid and childish. Grow the fuck up people.

This thread has ruled.

I learned something funny about ICP and what others think of them. I learned why the fans are so loyal and why they are into it. I don't like the music, the fashion or the majority of their fans, but I like people who express themselves and teach me new things. There is no reason to hate me for my opinion, I don't hate any of you for your opinions. Grown ups can disagree and debate and STILL be friends, its amazing.

Kudos to the admins for not locking it at the first site of disagreement. I think adults must learn to agree to disagree and move on with their lives. I have no problem with anyone on this thread and if they have a problem with me, oh well, their loss

Well, shit. I think at least half of us will have to stop posting, now.

I find it very disturbing that anyone would be content with the notion that there is a "typical" way that someone would or should think based on the clothes they wear or the music they listen to or how black their souls are.

Anyone who was surprised by those events had never really let their imaginations run wild, and thought, "Holy fuck, it's possible someone could do that!" So yeah, I thought that people were being dumbasses when they were so shocked and appalled at the events that day. Hey, Hiroshima, it was not. At least it wasn't a nuke. In a way, though, I had to feel sorry for the shocked onlookers, because they obviously had spent a great deal of time hiding under the covers, and didn't have enough raw pessimism - what I often refer to as realism - in their diets.

C'mon, people. Take two big buildings, that had bomb attempts on them previously, and an army of angry militant middle-eastern psychos. Throw them together, and you have every stupid fuck in the country sticking an american flag on their vehicle.

I don't say all of this to belittle the victims of the attack. I say this to belittle those who take offense to seeing things as they actually are. I say this to belittle those who allowed it to happen. And, I say this because those same people are currently running this so-called democracy.

Iblis, I feel ya. Completely off the original topic but none the less valid. September 10th and before I was notorious for wearing a veitnam military issued all weather jacket with all of the origianal patches that was given to me by my uncle who was in the "conflict". For this I was ridiculed by some people. Like most of the time I let it roll off my back. September 11th rolls around, you know what happend? Every single fucktard buys a flag and the same people who were poking fun the day before were saying how cool it was to show support. I hadn't changed. I felt so angry at the fact that what was patrotic to me 2 days before wasn't good enough but 2 days later was the new trend. Being patriotic isn't a trend, it is a state of mind that we all should have. That is why I speak my mind more now than ever. I got tired of not being heard, even if I am wrong.
