NIN release date and new lineup
NIN release date and new lineup
According to Blabbermouth.net, Nine Inch Nail's new release, With Teeth, is going to be released May 3. But we all know Reznor is notorious for procrastinating...
The new touring lineup is as follows: Drums: Jerome Dillon; Bass: Jeordie White (a.k.a. Twiggy Ramirez); and keyboards: Alessandro Cortini. The guitar slot is rumored to be filled either by Ralf Dietel or Mike Tempesta (formerly from Powerman5000).
Oh, and let's not forget the rumor about an upcoming small venue tour.
If all this is true, yippee! But, I'm not getting my hopes up.

Blabbermouth: Tempesta not in the lineup. 14:44
Aren't rumors grand? Blabbermouth knows what's up... a source close to Mike Tempesta has informed Blabbermouth that "there is no truth to the rumors that Tempesta will be playing guitar for NINE INCH NAILS on their upcoming tour."
Perhaps Kerrang! will have an updated lineup in their follow-up article, let's hope they spell the guitarists' last name correctly the next time around.

But you must keep in mind that these guys are NOT playing on the new album. Who cares if you don't like their former band's style of music? As long as they can play their instruments and play what Trent wrote, then that's all they gotta do. It's not like they're part of the writing process or anything. All I'm concerned about is whether or not they can follow sheet music and put on an interesting stage show.

You busted me? It's no secret that I don't actually read most of your posts. I tend to skip them because generally they follow the same formula.
Bitch bitch bitch, snarky comment, bitch bitch bitch.
When you lighten up and stop being an ass about everything, then maybe I'll listen to what you have to say.

Hahahaha. Aw, thats so cute. You think you actually do damage to people's egos. Sorry sweetie, it just looks like you have a superiority complex. No one here, or anywhere, cries over your pathetic insults. Get over yourself.
And as for telling me what I can and cannot reply to, eat my shit. If I want to reply to some snarky comment you made, I'll fucking do it.

For one, I didn't have an attitude until you had an attitude. "I just said that." So fucking what? Are you really that insecure that you have to stake your claim on a post? And I'm free to say what I want, when I want, even if it has been said before. So, don't tell me what I can and cannot post.

I don't think that guest appearances by members Tool, Collide, and Static-X on "The Greater Wrong of the Right" added nu-metal influence into the album, and it definitely doesn't sound like shit. These bands are heavily influenced by their industrial predecessors such as SP, and I'm sure they greatly appreciated to opportunity to work with them. What I hear is a fusion of what Ohgr and Cevin Key have been doing with their solo projects over the years. It does have more commercial appeal than their previous work, but they are also reaching out to a new audience who may have never heard puppy.
I have been a long time fan of SP, love their old stuff all the way back to Remission and Bites. I found the new album to be a very versatile progression of their sound and I would have to classify it as one of their best works. Certainly made up for "The Process", and I look forward to what they have in store in the future.
As far as Jeordie's involvement in NIN's upcoming stage show, that is the best news I have heard about the tour lineup yet. I've seen him live twice with Manson, he is an superb bass player and performer.
Kudos to Trent for that decision. There is no way in hell I'm going to miss this tour.
