Doom 3

Post by Bigun »

I was playing Doom 3 for the first time on my brother's tricked out AlienWare computer, and I'm wondering if I'm the only one thinking this:

Couldn't they have made it just a little more gorry? The bodies just kinda melt.... I was somewhat dissappointed by that. Although the game seemed to rock otherwise.

Despite all the people online bitching about Doom 3. I actually enjoyed my trip to Hell and back. I think I might buy the expansion when it comes down in price.

Yeah, I've played a bit more of it on my home Linux system, and I'm beginning to like it a lil' more. The spooky red lights, noises, and the occasional black-outs make the game edgy. I haven't beaten it yet, but that's because I'm trying to play it like a movie... instead of a game... with the lights turned out and with speakers turned up.

And I can also understand why the bodies melt...... THERE'S SO MUCH DAMN STUFF GOING ON THAT THE EXTRA BODIES EATS THE PROCESSOR! *ahem* On that note, I expect Doom 4 (if they make one) will be on a 5 DVD set.
