I read this as a man... there is nothing to indicate that it is actually a woman. It is about being a victim who is suffering pain and humilation, but those experiences are not exclusively reserved for women.

I DID fall into the trap of assuming it was from a man's point of view, because it is written in first person voice, and the author is a man.... (another assumption?)

No... I'm actually thinking more of the archetype your are in the process of creating (Latex and Leather)... who is a kind of Kali... what is THAT dark lady thinking? What drives her? What is she trying to prove? What does she feel for these men she pleases and punishes? Is she even a real human or is she a succubus or goddess?

Rotten Tangerine is a magazine/ starlet fading away, like Gloria Swansen in "Hollywood Boulevard". So, she lacks the same transcendent quality as your "Dark Beauty". We see her plaster face crumbling before our eyes. She becomes ordinary (rotting)flesh.

I have to agree with Silver on this...There is nothing in it that indicates any feminity...& also, some of the description leaves the ideas open to fetish (S&M, Play-Rape, etc), more than actual rape...I have yet to here of alot of people using whips, when they rape others...

I will say this...I did like it...It's just not very clear, & leaves the wrong taste, than intended...I believe...
