first question: anyone here ever use qemu with windows as the host OS? if so, what sort of luck/experience did you have with it? it sounds like a nice, free/open source alternative to vmware, but i've never messed with it, and have a work-related experiment i'm needing to do that requires windows (bleh!) to be the host OS.
second: also, does anyone here know of a (free and/or shareware) program that can resize an NTFS partition without doing damage to the data on said partition? i'm wanting to migrate my main notebook to either freebsd or linux, and don't want to lose a lot of the neat shitznits i've acquired. (for that matter, if i can get qemu to play nicely, i'll happily just boot an XP image for any work-related projects)
i don't care if the aforementioned software requires a linux system, as i have a knoppix cd at hand at all times.
thanks.

hell yeah, i checked it out on monday, and the GSX version is sweet. thanks, man.

Your welcome, we're using the ESX version at work. It is pretty neat. Kinda nice how quick it boots a RHEL4 session. I put up our web ftp server thingy on one.
