Where is everyone going for coffee nowadays?
I tried to call 11th st and their # is out of commission.
Want to find a place between west town and downtown if possible.

11th Street is awesome. I'm sure that if it loses it's property people will be movingmoretowards
Mocha Cabbana...Located in the shops Knoxville Place...1525 White Ave.
Or that they will hit Golden Roast...Off of 17th Street, Campus side, next to Gus's Deli. I'm not to fond of the place. Nice atmosphere, but there are a fewreal assholes that work there. It's like Hippie, and Young Professionals coffee shop.
There is always Starbucks. Located almost everywhere. There are 2 on campus side. 1 downtown in the Hilton, and about 3 on Kingston Pike. Say what you want, but I can buy coffee from there with a clean conscience after learning about theemployee benefits.
Also, thre are several places downtown. I think Time Warp Tea Room is another popular hangout, althought I've only been there once. There is a nice little coffee shop in the KUB building downtown as well.
Oh, and Java in the Old City. I'm not a fan, but Adam Dill works there, and that motherfucker makes some of the best coffee in the city.
However, I frequent 11th Street the most. JaNell and Shelly are 2 of my favorite Barista's in this city.

their coffee tastes nasty, and i'm almost convinced that they do something to their beans that reduces the C8H10N4O2 output.
by the way, do they still attempt to charge people to use their wifi?
If carpenters made buildings the way programmers make programs, the first woodpecker to come along would destroy all of civilization. Anonymous
Starbucks..I think they overroast their beans and the coffee often has an oxidized taste means they are probably not cleaning their equipment as well as they should - although that varies from location to location... the one in front of the Kroger on Kingston Pike (between Bearden & Sequoyia Hills) is really bitter.
As much as I hate the corporate yuppie atmosphere, I like Panaera's coffee a lot better.
