The Notorious Bettie Page

Post by vertigo25 »

Yay! I'm going to go see The Notorious Bettie Page this weekend! It's playing over in Berkeley, but I may go to see it in SF.

Too bad it isn't playing in Knoxville or Memphis, or Nashville. Kind of sad considering she was born in Tennesse.

Neener neener neener :P
The firemen came and broke through the chimney top. And me and Mom were expecting them to pull out a dead cat or a bird. And instead they pulled out my father. He was dressed in a Santa Claus suit. He'd been climbing down the chimney... his arms loaded with presents. He was gonna surprise us. He slipped and broke his neck. He died instantly. And that's how I found out there was no Santa Claus.

Oh... I almost forgot... here's a great review of the movie from a really great site (AlterNet): The Unassuming Icon.

Not the one where I go "neener neener neener." That one is here in "general"

This is also first release. The South is usually the last to get films to it's theaters.
