Any good Toyota racing forums?

Post by Lady A »

I just bought an '88 Toyota Celica GT and I'm in the process of tearing it apart, getting it running, and hopefully by the end of the summer AutoXing it. Just wondering if anyone knows of a good website or forum for Toyota and/or Celica racing. Need to know what's good parts wise before I start putting this thing back together. I have a general idea what I'm looking at, but it's just good to see what's worked for other people! :dup:

scraped my elbow. the car didn't do as well.

Sort of answered my own question:
For 4th generation specific info
http://www.4gcelica.com

Another good celica forum (references are better than the forum):
http://www.toyotacelicaonline.com

I've been tearing into my car for the last couple of weeks, and I'm about a week away form getting the head off (much thanks to the muscles and patience of my loving husband). It's been hard for Doug to back off and let me do the work, but he's learning to keep his hands off the tools unless I need his strength to break some of these bolt loose that have had 18 years to rust in place.

Yeah, every guy I know is jealous of my car when I tell them I'm giving it a head job!

way to go. i wouldn't mind seeing it. I love celicas. after driving up a mountain with my gf at the time and noticing that it was running funny and the oil was bone dry, then coasting the car back down the mountain, walking to my grandparents, adding oil, and then it driving with no problems for months impressed me.
