nice.. there's a live distribution featuring an openmosix enabled linux kernel available. in laymen's terms: you can use this to turn any networked group of PC's into a single 'supercomputer' without installing a damn thing. obviously, your mileage may vary; the speed of that 'supercomputer' depends on the combined machine specs, as well as the speed of the network.
just one more reason never to throw a computer away.. and a perfect excuse to install a gigabit network at home.
