I saw Crank the other day and it could be the coolest popcorn flick ive seen in a while. It probably didnt hurt that i saw "Lady in the water" on the same day. (which wasnt as bad as everyone says IMO.) but yeah, Crank is a hell of a good time.

Personally if they ever decided to do a hitman movie...Jason Statham would be the single best choice for Silent snap your neck ala cool look guy.

Unfortunately they are, and Vin Diesel is playing Agent 47.

Now, since they were inevitably going to do this, I agree. I would much rather have seen Jason Statham get the role. Though preferably David Bateson who voices 47 in the games, and serves as the model for the character’s facial features. But it's another Hollywood game-to-movie adaptation, and the powers that be wouldn't dare go with a lesser known actor, (i.e. base the movie loosly on the game and get a well known action star to play the lead role). So Bateson in the role for the lead just won't happen. In this case Statham would be my first choice for the role.
Vin Diesel is just not Agent 47.

I would rather just go see Crank.

We saw it tonight, and it was a lot of fun. There were a couple of scenes that were pretty silly but.... meh I ain't gonna bitch.
It's a throwback to over-the-top 80's action flicks with a wink and a nudge at violent video games like G.T.A. and Hitman. Jason Statham was awesome. I liked it just as much as Snakes on a Plane. Hope to see a lot more American action films aimed at the R-rated audience for a change.
