I'm normally very fond of El Chico's. But, honestly that might change if I experience another fine meal at "Tekilla" on Cliton highway/Cedar lane right next to Great American Buffet. Lots of good food was brought, fairy cheap pricing, and the food served looked good, not like it had been thrown together.
The outside of this place could definately use a make over. We were kinda scared going into it. But, the food was really good. Got a burrito for $7.99 that was huge and alittle spicy. Mo had a fajita Quesadia for $8.99 and was huge as well. Both very tasty.

Yes, I have wished you were dead. You are just another face in the crowd, someone who brings me suffering, someone I truely hate.

Haven't been to any really good ones here in K town but my fave so far is actually out in morristown. i know it's out of the way but damn their chimichangas are to die for. it's called El Caballo de Orro. i belive that means the golden horse in spanish.
where is this Pelancho's everyone is talking about? i'll have to check it out.

I hate that saying: "You can't have your cake and eat it too."
Because what's the point of having cake when you aren't able to savour and enjoy every tastey morsel it has to offer you.....

cancun's on chapman hwy seems good thus far, as well.
their spinach dip is a bit fluid - generally when i think of cheese and spinach dip i think thick, creamy, and loaded with the green stuff - but it's not too bad.
thus far i've tried their chicken chimichanga and fajita-style burrito - both are to die and/or kill for.
one thing i have to give to both locations... maybe i'm a light eater, but damn, they give large portions.
i mean, for $7.99ish - $8.99ish, i get three to four full meals. that might not be a lot when compared to eating at home, but as for eating at a restaurant... that's fucking awesome.
i've not tried their alcohol yet, but when i do i'll give an update.

cancun's on chapman had a bad rating 3 months ago, but it seems they've come back strong and the food was pretty good last time i ate there.
also the cancun's on broadway...pretty good food...i couldn't eat it all there...had to take it with me and make another meal out of it.
i still would have to say that El Charro's on Bearden Hill is my all time fav as far as mexican food.
