Ok, this post is 2 years old... but it's nearly Halloween, so why the hell not?
Pumpkin Potato Candy
Ingredients:
1 medium potato
powdered sugar
peanut butter
Preparation Instructions:
Peel and boil potato then mash and add enough powdered sugar to make it stiff, on wax paper roll with rolling pin to a thin layer. Now spread peanut butter on it and roll like a jelly roll.
My grandma used to add food coloring somehow... I searched, found nothing... but i'm sure you could easily swirl in some orange food coloring... Before rolling it up, you can add some chocolate, shredded coconut, crushed almonds/nuts, etc...
Then cut it so that it's cookie-shaped... you could throw some candy dots on for the eyes n nose, and use an icing tube filled with chocolate/frosting to draw a mouth. You could use half of a mini-stick pretzel for the stem, and then throw it in the fridge until it's stiff n cold... You could also scratch the pumpkin idea n make little devils with pretzel horns...
I dunno, I just pulled the second half of that out've my ass. Sounds good though, think i'm gonna try it out this year... If anyone happens to try it n vomits their guts out, you had ample warning...

Halloween Candy
Drive to your local grocery store.
Place candy in basket.
Go to checkout.
Pay cashier.
Drive home.
Eat candy.
or
On Oct 31, walk door to door in a silly outfit with a pillowcase.
Knock on doors.
Say "trick or treat"
Open pillowcase...
Allow neighbors to place treats in pillowcase.
After 20 or so houses...go home.
