Is playing at Downtown West for a few days. Go see it. I can't say much about it without giving the movie away, but it's an amazing psychological thriller and the best film I've seen this year.
Here is the plot Synopsis from IMDB:
A provocative drama about a 32-year-old man who takes home a 14-year-old girl he meets on the Internet--with surprising consequences.
Director David Slade's first feature film, he's directing the film version of "30 Days of Night" next year. The acting and cinematography were top-notch and the plot twists really keep you guessing.
GODDAMNIT! I can smell god movies. I totally wanted to try and see this last night. I was like, it'll be decent, but nooo....we had to play drunken Monopoly. DAMNIT! It's like Capote. I knew thatshit was going to be awesome, but I couldn't get anyone to go and see it with me.
The only good thing about seeing King Kong was seeing this trailer. It looked smashing, and yeah, I've got a feeling the less you know the better, so I'll be avoiding this thread.
Too bad I'll have to catch this on DVD - I'm currently living in a worse theater black hole than Knoxville by far.
Here is a good review / interview from Film Threat. It contains many spoilers and references that give away plot elements. I would urge anyone to see the movie before reading it. The less you know about it going in the better.

I dug it too, especially the first hour. It drug a bit in the end, but that's OK - My hopes were probably set just a bit high based on the killer trailer. I really liked the focus on just 2 characters and the verbal sparring match. So cool when it is done well. Yeah, a must buy.

Oh yea...the bit where he fucks with her and they go back and forth is excellent. This is a prime example of the stuff I have been writing. No more than 5 characters, and all interaction is between the main 2. I found the twist at the end most excellent...I felt a little dissatisfied without knowing how Hailey knew Donna. That part was a bit annoying. It did seem to me though that she had a bit of a jealous thing with Janelle. maybe it's that "girl-molested-by-her-father marries a guy like her father"
I only had time to watch it once, but it was very entertaining as well. Which is what alot of movies lack...
