Remember, blonde, lived next door to me for years... dated Kenny Davis, bartender from Carousel back in 90-92 and was my roomate back then? (OK Lisa A....... dont go off on me now for saying his name!)
Kenny or Ken as he now insist on being called ,was last I talked to him- managing a walgreens in Bluff City, Tn--Christie(crazy bitch that she was) has killed herself-about 2 years ago-Leah is having a groovy time being married and normal in SanDiego and Gregg and greggory ran into Terri Willis out there as well years ago--He was still unemployed and mooching

If you read back in the thread a bit, Patrick references both Jeff and Don.

that's awful. i never actually met him. i tried, but you remember how uncommunicative he was in public.
what was he actually like?
and... this sam person was the count?
The Count's name was Michael.
I'll reserve his last name, as he has a living brother among our extended scene.
He was referenced early in this thread.
He spoke to NO ONE.
I broke his ice by being a Huge Bowie fan.
That was the ONE thing he was Passionate about.
He had over 120 Bootlegs alone, on top of the Full Legit catalogue.
Many cool Videos too.
He gave me a few items when he retired "The Count" and started dating Sara.
He burned his wig and clothing and sold the rest of his Bowie catalogue to other enthusiasts.
I can only think of about 4 or 5 other people that he actually spoke to, and most of them pre-dated or were current w/ Planet Earth, and none of them go out these days except for maybe Brent Borrison.
He was quiet, w/ curly red hair.
He was asexual for the most part, but that changed when he fell for Sara.
He had grown up being teased as "gay", so he decided he Must be, even though he never really had any relationships that I'm aware of.
I'm not saying he never did anything,.. I'm only aware of any specifics after he got involved w/ Sara.
He drove a red Fiat Spyder and was an Accountant.
I told him he should have "Count" as a Double-entendre license plate, but he was too shy for that...
He was Shy to the Extreme, and "The Count" helped him escape that Superficially through his dancing, but he was extremely unhappy w/ himself out of character.
May he RIP

.actually--Michael worked with my sister when I was in highschool--after his first attempt, by parking his car on the rr tracks- we talked quite alot--he made me some mixed tapes and copied alot of his videos for me(see how long ago that was)

not possible. i suspect my kinsey score wouldn't allow it.

did you ever live in maple hurst---did you know Don Boshears?????????
you and i only knew each other well enough to say hello; i talked to you every once in a while at PE, and when i was there with ana (if you rememeber her). i did't really hit my social stride until cody opened the closet and i started doing all the design for it.

i rememeber he showed up at either boiler room or underground once, and not dressed as the count. everyone who'd heard of him freaked out as silently as possible.
i don't think i've ever seen a crowd awed by a single person like that before. he was just standing there, and i'm sure the strangers were going "wtf?"

Yeah..... He talked to XI......and I tried MANY times to talk to him and he just staired out into space and wouldnt even look @ me. I could never figure out if he was just terrified socially, if it was just an act to be mysterious, or if it was to just get attention......... clearly now I know that it was because he was terrified socially. Poor thing. Hey, I know I mentioned this earlier in this thread, but hey Lisa... remember "The Dance Master" !!!!??? He went to Trumps, The Underground, PE, 121 & the Cancercell..... dont know if he came to The Boiler Room...... you know...... the guy with the Gotea the would jump & spin around all over the dance floor!!!! That guy was great.... I actually got to know him a few years later....REALLY cool & REALLY nice guy. A nurse.......

"Disco Mania" and the like..... Oh........ bad news....... you guys remember Kelly? The long haired girl I dated back in 87-91 ish? We were together about 3 - 4 years? Found out she commited suicide about 4 years ago. Poor girl. We always got along even after we split..... Met her husband & stuff once too.... nice guy.....*sigh*
