Transformers movie

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Okay, this is how far it goes with me on these icons of my youth. I own the dvd's of both transformers and g.i. joe movies. I also got my hands on the soundtrack and the score to transformers the movie. There is something about mowing the lawn while listening to Escape that can't be explained. Ahh, the good ole days of synthesizers and keytars. I miss them dearly.

A movie like this could work or it could stink like the dickens. It all depends on how the script is done.

A new Joe flick too? :

> April 24, 2003 - Cinescape breaks the news that DreamWorks Pictures may be nearing a deal to land the feature film rights for G.I. Joe. According to the site, Hasbro, which makes the line of G.I. Joe toys, "has closed or is very close to closing a deal with none other than DreamWorks Pictures for a Joe movie." Another source advised Cinescape that "a new deal with a Hollywood company was imminent."

The screen rights for G.I. Joe had previously been held by Mortal Kombat producer Lawrence Kasanoff (under his Threshold Entertainment banner) and Warner Brothers but, as Cinescape reminds us, that's "old news."

G.I. Joe was a popular doll for years before being turned into a successful line of toys and Marvel comic books, as well as animated TV series, during the 1980s. The Marvel characters were recently revitalized by Image Comics <

Thats "Masters of the Universe" movie was terrible. It's funny to see Courtney Cox in a piece of crap like that. Then again she was also in that TV show. Can't remember the name, it was like the Heroes of Science. She played a girl with telekinetic powers. Also, don't star Dolph Lundgren in these type of flicks. The "Punisher" was terrible.

If they make a Thundercats movie, Mumra better not just sit there while Lion-O takes 5 mintues to summon his power and friends.
