RHPS In Lexington - 8/30
Moderator: Arkady
Oh, Rocky!
I'm definitely down, unless something unexpectedly comes up. But I have no plans for the weekend, and I'd love to visit Lexington again, and see Rocky. It's been about 4 years since I saw it in a theater.
Hooray!
Hooray!

So...do we all want to carpool with Mo? Or are you set on driving too Nem? *if so I'll ride with you...I know I'll like the music...lol.
Ok, I get off at around 5 on Saturday, so I can come home, shower, grab my bag and then meet you all somewhere.
Do we want to caravan or do you want to give them directions Nem?
I'm excited too...I know how badly you've been trying to get more of us to go...I had a lovely time before, and I'm sure they will too. Plus, it is quite amusing to see Nem perform his call backs up and down the aisles...only this time, I'm gonna sit where I can hear him!

I'm riding with Mo. That's all I know......
And, Buttah, it's obvious you've never been to Rocky with me...

O.K., it's Sir D, Charming Arse, & possibly Buttercup & Nem.
Nem, if you could please provide some directions just in case, I would be ever so obliged, dear? I know to go north towards Lexington, but how best to proceed once there is necessary info.
Following is cool too, but in case of separation, I'd like to have some idea where to meet up.

Change how you see, not how you look.
From South of Lexington on I-75:
Take exit 104 and turn left at the light. This road goes directly into town, and becomes Main Street. Eventually, you will see the theater marquee on your left.
Parking Instructions:
Turn left at the stoplight just past the theater. Then on your right is the entrance to a parking garage. Once inside, make sure to go right; otherwise, you'll be going the wrong way. This garage is free.
OR:
Go straight through the stoplight just past the theater and then turn immediately left into the parking garage. There's a sign that says "P," for parking. This garage is also free.

My friend Rachael (cutelittlepsycho20) may be going... not sure yet. I am planning on it though, so if anything else is decided on, call me.

Rocky, Rocky, Rah Rah Rah!
I am still planning on going, but will probably drive myself so I can come back to Knoxville on Sunday. Can't make it to Nashville, more's the pity. Anyone who wants to ride with me is welcome. If I could crash at the hotel, though, that'd be great.

What time should we head out in order to get there on time?
(I'll be doing the speed limit, by the way!)
The show is scheduled to start at Midnight but, of course there are always pre-show activities starting around 11:30 or so... Just to be safe I would leave no later than 8ish...

Much fun had by all...(I hope) Thank you to all Knoxvillians who braved the trip for the show, the Lexington cast and I both thank you all personally for coming... (again) I truly hope everyone enjoyed themselves as much as I did.... I'm most definitely looking forward to the next show and hopefully we can rally up more K-Town folks to attend...Until perhaps we can get a show of our own going....
