Okay everyone, This week is last "booked" 80s night at Ivy's for the month of July (no 80s night next week due to a previously booked band on Friday night)
Soooooooo, we need a big showing this Friday. AC is fixed and the club was actually cool last week. In fact if you missed last week you missed a helluva good time. I talked to the owner about getting some "decent" merlot in for this friday (can we say yellow tail) for you wine drinkers.
So come out drink, dance, and party! Lets just make sure that Ivy's continues 80's night in August!
Shadow- Absolutely NO PROBLEM on the Cult (probably my FAVORITE 80s band, have stuff all the way back to the Southern Death Cult Days

)
Leave the Drama at the door and come out and party Friday, then Skareoke this Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, see, that's where you'd be wrong. Besides Synthpopalooza, who's a wealth of information about all things synthpop, there's
this.

granted it will be next time before i can play anything...i will nearly guarantee there is something i will like, and i don't know....
Smooth Criminal IS from the 80s...Bad Album i think....at least from Moonwalker. which came out in like 87 or 88.....i know the Arcade game for the movie came out in 88...so....*shrugs*
um, anything else...bring me mp3 cds if you aren't hearing what you think rocks out. I WILL listen to them.....i WILL play them.
and yes...Bone makes a wonderfull point....COME OUT IN NUMBERS, everything is working fine, i feel like i've got my magic on, perhaps he does as well....last week was awesome, and i feel like at least topping MY performance last week......I'm coming in with my gameface, and i plan on kicking your asses until my foot hurts........

80s one hit from Red Flag would have been "Russian Radio"
Though their more recent stuff is soooooooooo much better
BTW our own Synthpopaloza did one of the remixes on Red Flag's "Who are the Skulls" CD. Definately a CD worth a listen too!
