Some info on B-12 and Vegans. fortefied Cereal, fortefied soy milk, and Red Star T-6635+ are highly suggested.
As a Picky Ass Eater I get my lost vitamins from vitamen supllements. Current bottle is Vitasoft. Comes as a chewey candy flavored orange and strawberry.
Yummy Scrumpy.

I am a bad vegan. I am going to a vegan hell where we are forever denied china wok and veggie sushi.
Ok, so I've been sick, which = lazy Buttercup, so I haven't been quite as good as I should be lately, but I'm better, so I'm gonna get back on track.
I don't know..I think I'm pretty physically healthy, mentally that is another thing,, but I don't think it has anything to do with my diet..I think I was dysthimic/anxious before I ever went vegan (yeah, I'm sure of it)...I was thinking today that I haven't had any sort of stomach bug since I went vegan. I've been vegan for 1 year and 8 months...of course, I've had slipups, but its all about trying...however, in the winter time I tend to crave dairy and even meat because I am depressed and my body is trying to get what it think it needs.
Semen is a good source of protein...ain't nuthin' wrong wit dat.

It's hard to take a sugar monster such as yourself serious when it comes to matters of diet.

so i tried the vegan thing for almost a year and did not have a good experiance. my hair, very dark brown and thick, became lighter and thiner. additionally i lost a serious ammount of weight. my primary reason for trying it was to be healthier but it seemed to have the opposite effect.
have you had any of these problems? and what do you do to combat them?
If it's any consolation, not only did I have these problems as a vegan, but as a run-of-the-mill vegetarian as well.
Also, I am very anemic, which pretty much kills any chance of ever being a PC non-meat eater.
And I got tired of needing a nap every day. Eat meat, no naps.
Funny how some people do loads better on a veggie diet, and others (like you and I) wither away... heh.
I like food with a face anyway. Mmm mmm good.

i like meat. i was given pointy teeth for a reason, and that reason wasn't to chew bark.
however, if one is trying to consume an insane amount of certain proteins, vitamins, and minerals, eating vegan food is often the easiest way to go about it.
hence, i happily gorge myself on meat, but will suppliment using vegan preparations.

Oh I know about good nutrition, I just don't abide by it.
Actually I am tempted by fruitarianism....Easy to eat and whatnot. Plus fruit is my least picky type of food.
but...Wendy's...how could I live without it...sigh...

There's a lot of evidence that this may have to do with blood-type. . . certain people can digest and use certain foods better. . . Taoists believe that there's about 25% carnivore, 25% Herbivore, and 50% omnivores in the human populace. . . some people get sluggish after meat, some after vegetables. . . I don't take naps. . .
Sharp teeth maybe, but side to side chewing method and long intestines and lower acidity stomach juices all indicate a vegetarian diet. . . Don't get into the "born to eat meat" argument because there's not much scientific evidence supporting it. . . eat meat cause it tastes good, you're mean, or you've got glandular problems. Or because you're all so
WEAK!!!! (sorry thats my smugness coming through . . . tasty smugness)
Just kidding guys. . . read Ishmael.

Bite me.
If I go vegetarian, I get sick. Period. And I can mix incomplete proteins like a mofo...
But I also carry Beta Thallasemia, a variant of sickle cell anemia, which seems to sometimes need something found in red meat.
Not chicken, fish, or whatnot: beef.
I know that you're kidding, so the following really isn't aimed at you: You have to realize that not every person's dietary needs are the same; it varies widely even among racial groups. A diabetic's needs are very specific and legitimate, yet no one arrogantly preaches to them about being a fruitarian or whatever...
Soy makes me queasy in more than minute quantities...
Yet I've had vegetarians preach at me that Soy will solve everything.
Yep. Just because
they can digest it doesn't mean that
I can!
So yeah Vegetarians - you're honestly helping the earth. However, not all people are able to stay healthy on that sort of diet, sadly.

i found out quickly that a strictly vegan diet gives me a very, very unhealthy disposition.
and by that i mean, unhealthy for everyone around me.
grr, argh!
