I think th' Katch allows unescorted women in, but the Ear doesn't. I know some women that just go in the door with a group of guys though.

It has been tried in the past and doesn't pull enough bussiness in this area to pay for itself. As a once in a while event, it does well but just not enough women willing to come out and spend $$$ on guys shacking their "groove things" to do even on a weekly basis.
Perhaps one day though... I know that it works in other cities, Atlanta for instance I believe has a regular male strip club.

A lot of that comes from old sexist gender roles - men are sexy because they are men, but women have to shake it for men's pleasure - we're the "entertainment"...
Men, according to that line of thought, stay "sexy" pretty much their whole lives, but women cease being sexy after their youth is gone...
Men are "handsome" with minimal grooming, but women have to shave half their body surface, plaster themselves in make-up (I'm talking the can't-go-out-of-the-house-without-my-face-on sort of insecurity, not night clubbing costume make-up), and generally remove all signs of their sexual maturity (hips & thighs & belly & such) while painting on fake signs of sexual arousal (red lips, smoky dark eyes) to be considered beautiful...
