Jenn, if I knew you were going I would have put aside being so tired and not wanting to deal with the rain and come out. As it was, I had the post-sanctus funk and was chatting with my son when the time rolled around. It was pouring rain and my car needed oil, so I talked myself out of it. Next time!

If I hadn't just spent 6 hours in a car because the storm caused part of I-40 to be closed, I would head that way. The last time I was there, it was quite enjoyable.

Genoa and I showed up at 11 and we were informed that, despite the fact that they are also a restaurant, no one under 18 would not be admitted after 9 PM regardless. I managed to walk around the perimeter before we left and didn't see any KG people anyway... so who all made it there? I'll see you next Monday when the spawnling is back in NY.

Monday night at the Party Hut in Gatlinburg has become an incredible non-event. I missed last week so I can't speak for then, but all the other times I've been.... well, the music was good but no one danced more than one song and there were never more than three people on the floor at most. I was thinking about trying again tonight, but reviewing my memory of the past, sitting there drinking alone just doesn't get it. Watching Shadow Dancer set the high score on the "crack box" is fun and all, but that's as far as it goes. Thanks to Trance for trying, and I'm sure he and his friends and their partners enjoy it. I'd like to see more KG people come out, and if they post that they're going, I'll try again. Would it help the turn out if I mention how sweet and good looking the bartender and barback are?

Scorp, you should let me know when you are going if you want some company. I'm not going by myself ya know.
