Discussing this with the fiance. Money's kinda tight right now, and she doesn't have a gun, nor I a tank, but beyond that, it's likely we'll make it if it's in the not too near future. Also may invite a few friends from beyond KG to see if they're interested. Providing, of course, that it's alright. ;)

TNPunkGuy: I know what you mean about money being tight. But thanks for the feedback and the more the merrier!

I am most definatly interested, but like some of the others I am tight on the budget and it would be a while before I could save up the money. So, if anyone is willing to led me one for the day along with gear it would really be appreciated. Also, I could be Russian because I can speak the language and I find the society and the role they played in the war very interesting. But, if need be my other pick would be Axis powers. Just let me know when and where, and also any good deals (dirt cheap) if it is anytime soon.

I want to kill shit.

Illearia: Thanks for the imput ! A Russian team will be cool if there are enough people to support it. If you want to start one, please be my guest. However, if not the Axis team welcomes you.

Location is now secure. Date to be decided upon.

Those wishing to participate will need desert and/or woodland camos. Real tree and leaf pattern will stick out like a sore thumb. Also bring LOTS of water and food that can be carried and stored easily because once it starts on Sat morn, it doesn't stop until Sun. afternoon The date is being decided upon. We're going to schedule it on a weekend that there's a full moon. We're also developing missions and objectives. One team has the luxury of being the defending "home" team. They gather Friday evening at the location and begin making fortifications and camp there that night. The Axis team has home field advantage. The German Heer will be playing the role of Afrika Corps. You play at your own risk. The terrain is very treacherous. If under 18, you must have written authorization to participate.

Start enlisting on a side now.
We need a name, an age, and a way to contact you(cell, home phone )Thank you.

ps. There's a gun show this weekend. This will a good opportunity to get some gear together .

Our next get together will be Aug 1. One of our squad won't be able to attend do to his work schedual. We expect a few new members will be there. My gear is forming up nicely. Come over here and join in the fun! Our group is the only one actually doing anything in Knoxville!

A short notice practice session day for the core members only today. Our team leader has reviewed the Bear Claw game event and we're going to do some training in preperation for that.

new training session today. One of our core members unable to attend and our two new members also a no show. One is supposed to return to our ranks in Sept, the other is unknown. However , 30 minutes into our patrol, we encountered 2 new possible recruits. They were friends with our team leader. After three skirmishes, they had to leave after one of them hurt thier back. We still need to work on our sneaking, but we rule in our blitzkrieg-like attacks.

We will have our own website up soon. We are Knoxville's apparently ONLY scenario team.

Go to the Knoxville forums and look for FTN CTY Milsim and make your challenge heard to a guy named marcus. The two of you can work out the details. Ok?

(note: Heath standing on the far left will be hard to see, because of the blade of grass stuck in his hat.)

Here's some of the mines (where we play)...

These are just a few pics of the sandy areas, which are good for gulf war type scenarios. This place also has plenty of wooded trails for woodsball, and concrete structures for "defending the base" scenarios.

:::stretches arms and yawns:::

Wow, it's been a while since I've been on these boards but Arkady stopped by my job today and we talked about all things firearm related. This, of course, led us back to the fun we used to have in paintball before I quit the team and became an airsofter. I recognize the Mine photos. MP-40, eh? Interesting show piece. If any of you guys are interested in learning more about Airsoft, email me or something.

Requiem wrote:Sir Diddimus: First of all, congrats on being a daddy! Children are surely a gift to our own sense of immortallity. The game will not be too expensive I'm sure. Thanks for checking in with me!

Those people out there with spare P.B. guns ,please loan to close friends that you trust so more people can play. Also, we need people willing to be referees.

i don't mind refing part of the time. but i would not want to the entire game.

i also do have a spare mask for someone. but it is one of the old brass eagle ones.
