not really. the only way that more jobs will be there is if client logic gets the contract with directTV. that will be 300 people doing easy CS work. there is no word on how much that would pay. but i would guess the same old $8.00 and hour that CS got before. client logic is trying to shuffle all of the bellsouth stuff to ashville. We did get the contract for Chrysler, however, nobody in the call center is qualified for the job. they want you to have 5 years experience, and some automotive certification. i don't remember which one. the job only pays $15 dollars an hour, and if they are only going to charge that much, then they won't find many mechanics to work there. the only way any jobs would open up for us would be managment positions, and i doubt that will happen.l
I do not like ACN, and would not recommend working at ACN. I know they've changed a few things as of recently, but it was really shitty when I was there.
Metron pays more starting off (for second shift), and offers incentive. ACN does not.

In another post Codine Coma mentioned Dial America, which closed. But I work in the same shopping center as DA, so I was reminded of the other call center next to it. It's for the police, or something? I never noticed the name. It's in the Wholesale Food/Big Lots shopping center in Fountain City. It's hiring right now. I can get the number next time I go to work because the building is in an alcove which is hard to spot driving by.
