Vampire: Who plays?

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Malkavian-Antitribu, Sabbat, I like to play Live Action with the Table Top rules, i've played for about 5 years now.

LARP, Malkalvian - in fact, that's how TheSym and I met.

Thus far...in recent months I have been bitten by around 5 different people.

Much to my surprise, every time.

Shadowrun is actually quite fun.

But I can't do RPG for long, before going on some sort of unprecedented killing spree.

..In the game, silly.

AMEN.

A compnay bought it from FASA when they wint under, all the stock too. While they are not the might that FASA was they are still doing stuff for it. I think its even be licensed in French.

I want Cyberpunk 3.0 to come out. R Talsorian Games has been working on it for 3 or 4 years and not finished it.

Armageddon 2089 is pretty tight. I've been reading it. Its everything that the battletech RPG should have been. Battletech is great mini game but a not so good RPG. Mongoose did a great job with it.

SLA Industries is back out.

Warhamster is supposidely back in publication.

Morrow Project is back in publication from the origionals. I'm supposed to do some work for it eventually.

The classics are coming back in a big way.

In Vampire my favorite character was David Gilmore my 8th gen Gangrel. Second clan choice has always been MAlkavian.

Never have managed to find a group for the White- Wolf games though.

AD&D: Always an Elf.

Oh, previous roleplaying experience?
Well back in 78 I came across this wierd box that said Dungeons and Dragons and convinced me mum to get it for me, and so began a long addiction....

I've played quite a number of games since then. Altho AD&D 2nd Edition with the kits always remains my fave, I tended to get upset a lot before the sessions began, especially new campaigns. I had to help Everyone make their character, and then if that wasn't bad enough, I had to lead the party. The neutral evil drow mage was an interesting leader tho, and the half-orc barbarian was amusing as well. Tho my favorite character would be Prince Dostron Copra, half-elf thief swashbuckler, or swassbuckler as I called it.

Shadowrun tends to be my top favorite tho, we got everything from the 1st edition hardback up to 3rd edition. It was amusing starting out with just one book on a new game. We were trapped on the 22nd floor of Mitsuhama, so our troll merc decides to take the easy way and blasts a hole in the wall with his assault cannon, hits his DocWagon band and jumps out the hole...
We looked in that book for about an hour and a half and could not discover falling damage, so we just said he bounced twice got up and walked away

I didn't really care for some of the RPG's geared more towards hack n slash like RIFTS and other palladium games, but ran across quite a number of other interesting RPG's. Powers and Perils was pretty neat, as was Gamma World, Boot Hill I didn't really care for, MERP required advanced statistics class just to make your character, Rolemaster was interesting, but our most interesting underdog RPG campaign was Star Frontiers after Zebulon's Guide came out. I was a Yazirian Star Law Ranger trying to solve a muder mystery on Galaxy Express 999.

But since I moved away from my GM in California I really havent had the urge to rp anymore, tho sometimes I miss it, maybe I might pick it up again in a year or two.

Trust me you don't want to join the "offical" LARP of White Wolf. Unless you LIKE having to kiss butt for a character that won't get destroyed by the ones that have and do frequently have their nose up the STs behind.

That is very untrue, atleast up here. We have had a Cam chapter for almost 2 years now and the problems that Chattanooga has had have never come up. Granted we stopped going to Chatta a long time ago.

I did Realms of Despair since October '96. Immed 3 times, finally retired because real life and KG are so much more fun. But I still drop in and say hi every now and then, plus I still go up to the yearly reunion on occasion at the Toronto RennFest.

That's because you played in Chattanooga. Chattanooga's larp if full of cheesy rules-twinks, and people who can't keep their real life BS seperate from the game. That city is the worst place to play in the SE.

Your right. You do live in hell.
