Jay regardless of the attitudes of some who have most likely never attended, Temple was the shiznit. It was a good night for any club: Good crowd and lots of drinks being consumed that is good business. However, as I pointed out to The Dickhead in its precious earlier thread, it takes more than one good night for a club to be prosperous, and for all I know, Temple was that one good night.

I'm sure you will not have a problem finding a new venue. You bring a lot to the table with Temple. Looking forward the the next one! If I can help with anything, let me know.

First...Jay...I think I may be able to help you set up another club night...Just IM me sometime...But, losing Amnesia REALLY sux...I actually liked that place...Kinda coozy, ya know...But...Nothing but a small snag...No one is willing to let Temple die...

Did you really think that I would just let the Tommy comment slide...Though, I'm not going to dig into him...I'm not going to sling glass...I don't want this thread locked...But...I'm just glad that I'm not the only one on here that thinks Tommy's a waste of human flesh...But, I digress...Hopefully...He atleast picks his battles better, in the future...That is all...

I've been avoiding the subject, which is complicated and has about 27 different sides, but WE didn't kill 11th St.

Loretta, the owner, did, by choosing to neither keep it open as a coffee shop nor to sell it.

THAT one we can't blame on Goths, or even the City of Knoxville.

Temple will start up again somewhere else, I'm sure. If anything "kills" around here, it's the petty non-supportive attitude people have unless it's being done by themselves or their bestest friends.

It is interesting to me that looking over your past postings on this topic you mentioned you're too cheap to buy drinks for ladies at the club. Does this mean you are part of the cause for the gothic venues in this town closing? Perhaps you ought to start frequenting sports bars to even out the scene. Balance.
The name doesn't suit you at all. I do have to admire your attempts at diabolical wickedness, I think it may be in your best interest to work on your strategy though. You will not acquire the notoriety or respect you so obviously crave by continuing to speak before you think. Nobody says I told you so anymore.
