Another great video, could do without the bizarre subtitles though.
Rentals - Friends of P

I actually used to have a Rentals t-shirt with the cover to the first album. I actually had people ask me if that was my picture on the front.

Believe it or not I have had that CD for years....

Sad thing is I had the cassette version of that album for quite a while.

Really liked the rentals songs. I remember when they had a video for "waiting" on mtv. I think I saw it once and twice and wham bang over the years I forgot about it. MTV was good for that.

Anway a small selection of metal songs. I've been strangely infatuated with metal as of late, and I thought it would be fun to show off what I've been geeked out by.

Black Sabbath-NIB

Black Sabbath performing love songs for devils.

Led Zeppelin-Babe i'm gonna leave you

It succeeds in giving me the creeps.

Venom-Welcome to Hell

It takes a while to cook, but once it does....

Celtic Frost-Circle of the Tyrants

Can't get that opening out of my head.

Motorhead-R.A.M.O.N.E.S

Lemmy's a little dead on this one...but I like the song...Can't help it.

Metallica-For whom the Bell tolls

From 1985, remarkable how time and talent go by.

Mago de oz-Fiesta Pagana

True metalheads are going to give me hell, but I like it.

X-Japan-Blue Blood

Completing out the international.

Al claims that to get his record deal he had to sign off on a contract that made him a puppet to his label. he had to do an album or two the exact way they wanted and he could then do what he wanted to do. the vocals suck, but the music wasnt horrible. its just not good.also consider he was in his late teens early 20s in this time and was offered any form of a record deal to be a puppet in hopes of one day making his own music.

id take that deal in a heartbeat.

Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun

Actually been awhile since I've seen Soundgarden's Black Hole Sun. It's still a really weird video.

I wish they had the actual video for Strange Kind of Love though. I have it on VHS at home along with the other Peter and Bauhaus videos.
